Step-by-Step Instructions:

Find a safe, flat location away from traffic.

Apply the parking brake and place wheel wedges.

Loosen lug nuts slightly before lifting the car.

Use the jack to lift your car until the flat tire is off the ground.

Remove the lug nuts and the tire completely.

Mount the spare or new tire and hand-tighten the lug nuts.

Lower the vehicle and finish tightening lug nuts in a star pattern.
After the Change:
